Can you help donate a prize?

Haxby United Charities and the Hodgson Charities are very small charities which are looked after by Haxby Town Council and St Mary’s Church. The annual interest received from both Charities is distributed around December/January to beneficiaries in accordance with the deeds.

As you can imagine the interest is very little and it is felt that the best use of the money is to hold an afternoon tea for people of pensionable age who live alone in Haxby. The Afternoon Tea is being held in The Memorial Hall, Haxby on Saturday 10th January 2015 from 1.30pm – 4.00pm. Afternoon tea, entertainment and a raffle will be provided. We hope local businesses will lend their support, which is always very much appreciated, by donating a raffle prize for the free raffle.

If you feel you would like to contribute a raffle prize for this worthwhile event, please contact Jenny Bell (Deputy Clerk) on Telephone 750378 or call in to the Council Office in the Memorial Hall.
